for everyone
Though it was a promotional tour for their new album, the mostly sang their classics. It was disappointing though that they didn't do New Moon on Monday, Is There Something I Should Know, The Chauffeur and Careless Memories. Skin Trade would've a major treat, too.

But anyway, here's one from 1983 - The Reflex.

Katrina, ang kulit mo! ;-p

Oh, and apologies for the highly inferior quality a phonecam.

Hehehe! Sorry...

Yeah, it would've been fun to hear Is There Something I Should Know, and The Chauffeur would've given Simon a chance to change his shirt! But I wasn't disappointed at all, since they have so many hits that it was unlikely we'd hear all our faves. It was enough of a treat that they sang only a few new songs and mostly gave us songs we could sing along to. :-)

Hey I was kidding, please don't apologize!! Guess you're right but would've been better if they did ;-p

Looks like the boys had fun performing in Manila--was anyone missing from the original band?

John Taylor--my original crush, Trish naman, Simon Le Bon (I think partly because of his fashion sense, didn't he marry a mowdel also?)

You and Katrina were so cute thanks for sending me the text messages you two.

I would think they did, although a friend mentioned a wee disappointment in the fact that the crowd looked kind of bored with their new songs.

Andy was the only one missing. I heard it was because of some management issues...?

Ay Karen, you really should've been there, we totally missed you! But then again, I shouldn't have missed the first one in 88!

I was fine watching with Tricia long ago. They played on a weeknight I was such a NERD ayaw ko pa pumunta kase may test the day after! Eh Tricia was very persuasive...so I studied the week before and went and had fun! Simon pa kept going PEOPLE POWER! Ha ha ha. Hopefully we'll get to catch another cool concert again and buti nalang pinagbigyan kayo and they played their best op da greatest hits.

Si Andy Taylor--di ba he had one spin off single? "When the Rain Comes Down" ba yun?

Buti nga you have the four guys eh...and Viva John Taylor--I loved that he did ffffunkkkk with Power Station. Mga fogi pa rin?

People Power? Hahaha!

I don't know about his other side projects aside from the Power Station, although John Taylor did a solo album with a cover of the Zombie's "She's Not There."

Op cors they're stil kyut! But John's tuyot na. Good thing Simon lost a bit of weight..he was looking like Elvis 2 years ago. Nick pretty as ever pa rin and Roger looked the same.

Hey we didn't see you there sayang.. We were with sina Gerry, VJ and Jarie, etc. That was a fun concert don't you think? Buti they sang Planet Earth! =)

Funny, I thought I saw Gerry outside after the concert but it turned out to be some other white bald guy hahaha. I totally enjoyed it, but I really wished they played better older songs instead of Wild Boys or Notorious. Oh well, it was still well worth seeing :)

By the way, Flock of Seagulls (vocalist lang)/Real Life and When in Rome will be playing next Saturday at Araneta!

Hahaha!

Anyway, yes we will be catching that one as well. Is it true that they're playing in Hard Rock too?

Yup yup! I'm more keen on that one since I'm not really into the other two bands. I told him na and he seems interested naman. Let me know how many you guys will be, I might be able to get tickets ;-)
